PRF & PRF EzGel

How does PRF work? + -

PRF at Aligned Aesthetics is a revolutionary treatment that uses platelet rich fibrin (PRF) for facial rejuvenation, reducing fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and hair restoration.

PRF is isolated from your blood using a machine called a centrifuge. The PRF is rich in over 6 different growth factors that promote the repair and regeneration of skin cells, increasing production of collagen, elastin, leading to improved skin texture, tone, elasticity, and reduces the appearance of scars and wrinkles. Get ready for a refreshed youthful glow that highlights your natural beauty.

How does PRF EzGel work? + -

PRF EzGel  at Aligned Aesthetics is 100% natural, autologous, regenerative, and bio stimulating gel made from your blood. It is the prime treatment for skin rejuvenation.

PRF EzGel is made similarly to PRF but involves an extra step: we draw an additional blood tube to isolate and heat your albumin, forming a gel. This gel is then mixed with the PRF to create PRF EzGel. So all the benefits of PRF plus some extra volume and a slower release of growth factors.

It can be used to treat asymmetry, skin
rejuvenation, stimulates collagen, reduced signs of aging (wrinkles, fine lines, loose
skin), and reduces acne scars.

Treatment zones: under eye hollowing, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, chin, jawline, crow’s feet, cheeks, smokers lines, and  lips. Get ready to have a refreshed and youthful glow!

How do I prepare for PRF & PRF EzGel Treatment? + -

Make sure you are well hydrated 48 hours prior to your appointment. This does require a blood draw. The more water you drink the better sample we get!

Make sure you have eaten prior to your appointment. Additionally, please avoid any medications for 3 days that will increase your risk of bruising ( ex: blood thinners, alcohol, some herbal supplement, and NSAIDs). Leave the rest to us to keep you comfortable throughout the process of your PRF or PRF EzGel injections.

What happens during PRF & PRF EZGel Treatments? + -

Once the treatment plan is determined. Clinical photography will be taken on you prior to all new treatments and is an important part of the clinical record. All makeup on the face, including eye shadow, must be removed. It is helpful if you remove this before coming to the office or you should plan to arrive early so that this step can be completed.

Then we will draw a small amount of blood from your arm.

Next, using a centrifuge, PRF is isolated from your blood sample within 15 minutes. If you are getting PRF EzGel we will collect extra blood sample and spin it down at a faster rate to isolate the albumin from your blood. The albumin is then heated up to create  the "gel" part of EzGel. This provides some volume and allows for a slower release of growth factors.

Topical numbing cream or local injections of lidocaine can be applied prior to PRF or PRF EzGel facial injections.

Then a  cannula is used to gently place precise amounts of PRF or PRF EzGel in the areas we want to rejuvenate. Common areas of treatment include, under eye hollowing, cheeks, lips, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, or in the scalp for hair restoration. Aligned Aesthetics clients report feeling comfortable throughout the procedures.

What can I expect after PRF or PRF EzGel treatment? + -
