Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is a cosmetic treatment that uses a chemical solution to exfoliate the skin, revealing smoother, more even-toned skin. It’s beneficial for improving sun damage, acne scars, uneven pigmentation, fine lines, and dull skin. Ideal candidates include those with sun damage, acne scars, uneven skin tone, fine lines, or rough texture. A free consultation is required prior to scheduling to develop your customized treatment plan.

How do I prepare for The Perfect Derma Peel? + -
One week prior to your chemical peel:
- Avoid the following procedures: electrolysis, waxing, depilatory creams and laser hair removal and sun exposure.

Three days prior to your peel

- Cease using your Tri-Retinol Complex, Retin-A, RePDO®, Differin® (Adapalene 0.1%) or any products containing Retinol, AHA or BHA, or Benzoyl Peroxide.
What can I expect during the treatment? + -
You will likely experience a stinging sensation when the peel is first applied and activates on the skin. The stinging sensations will last about a minute or less. Immediately after the peel has been applied your skin will have a light yellow/amber color. This is temporary and will fade in 1-2 hours.
What can I expect after the treatment? + -
Approximately 48 hours after the treatment, your skin will start to peel. Your skin may take on a sunburned appearance. Peeling and redness will last approximately three to seven days. Your skin may feel tight, dry, sensitive and have a slight itch to it. This is normal and the post peel hydrocortisone cream will help with these normal side effects from the peel.
